And if any man sin, we have an advocate (intercessor, comforter) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation (suffer punishment for wrongdoings) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

  • Desired free food and power not His presence
  • Worshiped themselves – How can I get this?

Conclusion – Christ’s answer is: Stop trusting what you can do, instead believe My word/trust Me.
